Im Jahr 2016 wurde die Veranstaltungsreihe „The Inner Game of Design“ von TwoPoints.Net (Martin Lorenz und Lupi Asensio) und Island (Louise und Florian Kunth) in Hamburg ins Leben gerufen. Seit 2018 organisieren Franziska Parschau, Patrick Sommer und Verena Gerlach die Berliner Ausgabe und seit 2019 gibt es dank Karen Zeiger, Alexander Frischhut und Laurin Soares auch ein TIGOD in München.Der Begriff „The Inner Game“ wurde von Timothy Gallwey in den 1970ern geprägt. Er beschreibt den inneren, psychologischen Kampf, der Auswirkungen auf die physiologische Leistung hat. Während es Gallwey hauptsächlich um die mentale Leistung und dessen Auswirkung auf die sportliche Leistung ging, geht es den Veranstaltern von TIGOD um die Sichtbarmachung unsichtbarer Gestaltungsprozesse und dessen Auswirkungen. In einem intimen Rahmen von maximal 25 Gästen und einem hervorragendem Abendessen, geben Designer Einblicke in ihre Arbeitsweise, die sonst der Öffentlichkeit verschlossen bleiben.instagram.com/theinnergameofdesign
